LOWELL, Arkansas – CRI today announced the acquisition of Global Emergency Response, Inc. (GER), a software and technology services company specializing in emergency technology solutions.
GER, founded in 2004 and headquartered in Augusta, Georgia, provides web and mobile based, near real‐time status tracking and situational awareness information systems for use by healthcare, emergency response and governmental organizations. The company’s solutions are used at the federal, state and local levels to help improve the information flow during emergencies and daily operations to enhance situational awareness.
“GER offers an exciting opportunity for us to expand into the emergency technology industry,” said CRI President Bobby McKinnon. “The addition of GER’s emergency technology solutions complements our business portfolio and supports our strategy to expand into the state, local and commercial sectors.”
The company will maintain its headquarters and continue operating under the GER brand. To learn more about GER’s products and solutions, visit www.ger911.com.
CRI provides management and financial solutions primarily to the federal government, with the largest contract being the Department of Education. “The Department of Education contract requires us to deal with confidential, secured information on a daily basis,” said McKinnon. “Our ability to provide quality service and maintain that level of security, coupled with the suite of solutions offered by GER, gives us an excellent opportunity to grow and expand business.”
Founded in 2002, CRI employs more than 450 employees throughout several locations across the U.S., including a Washington, D.C. program office in Annandale, Virginia.
