Professional Services: Job Types & Functions

Here’s a look at some of our more popular positions.

Provides support to federal clients with a variety of tasks depending on clients needs, including reviewing, organizing and analyzing documents and providing FOIA and Privacy Act review and processing FOIA cases. FOIA Analyst positions are located in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Juris Doctorate
  • Technical experience in processing complex information requests under the FOIA/PA
  • Software experience such as FOIAXpress and eDiscovery
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance

Provides partial or full life cycle acquisition and procurement support for clients in the Washington, D.C. metro area offering acquisition services internally or for other agencies. Financial analysts positions range from junior to senior levels.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or bachelor’s degree
  • Governmental accounting, business management or budget experience
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance

Provides acquisition support services for clients in Washington, D.C. metro. Contract specialists provide the full range of procurement-related support for the client’s acquisition activities. These positions range from junior to senior levels.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Federal contract experience
  • Knowledge of procurement and procedures
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance

Many of our clients are having employees who are comfortable with various types of technology telework from home due to ongoing COVID-19 protocols.

While these are currently remote positions, employees must be able to return to the office at any time at the request of the client.

Once you’ve found a job that fits you, it’s time to apply. Here’s what you can expect with our hiring process.

Apply Online

Look for open positions on our Professional Services Careers portal. Once you find one that matches your interest and skills, click the “Apply” button to set up your login information and begin filling out the application.

Application Review

After you apply, a recruiter will review your resumé to ensure you meet all the qualifications required for the position. They may also see if your experience matches other open positions.

Assessment

Depending on the job you applied for and the requirements of the role, you may be asked to complete an online assessment prior to an interview.

Interview

If you meet all of the qualifications, a recruiter may contact you regarding the next steps, which can be a phone or virtual interview.

Offer

After the interviews are complete, a hiring decision will be made. If you are chosen, a recruiter will make a verbal offer of employment. You will then receive an offer letter notating your start date, along with other important documentation.
