CRI supports U.S. Military service members with care packages.
Lowell, Arkansas – Operation H.O.G. (Handing Out Gratitude) was created in 2011 by CRI employees as a way to say thank you to our U.S. Military service members that will be serving away from their home base during Christmas. Over the years, many companies and individuals have contributed to this great cause by donating snacks, hygiene products, various forms of entertainment, and homemade thank you cards as a way to say thank you to deployed U.S. Military service members.
This year CRI President, Scott Dillard, set the goal at 150 care packages. Due to the incredible efforts of CRI employees, who encouraged over 55 Northwest Arkansas community businesses and organizations to also participate; a total of 269 care packages were packaged, with volunteer help from a Bentonville Boy Scout Troop #36, and sent to U.S. Military Service Members across the world. The 2014 Operation H.O.G. event was another huge success and the company plans to increase the number of care packages sent for the 2015 event.
