Award recognizes an individual for significant contribution to the betterment of the community.
LOWELL, Arkansas – CRI is pleased to announce that CEO Scott Dillard is the recipient of the 2019 Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce’s Graham / Tucker Award.
The award recognizes an individual for significant contribution to the betterment of the Lowell, Arkansas, community. First awarded in 1974 and named after Elbert S. Graham and Elza Tucker, it is the highest award for outstanding service to the community, according to the Chamber.
“The Dillard family and Central Research represent an excellent model for small business and community engagement,” said Chamber President and CEO Raymond Burns. “Their priority on hiring veterans is an example every business should follow.”
Dillard and his late father Dr. Johnny Dillard, a retired Marine Corps officer and Army National Guard Lieutenant Colonel, founded CRI in 2002 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) company. Since then, the company has grown to include several locations across the U.S., including a program office in Annandale, Virginia. In September, the company announced plans to build a new headquarters in Lowell.
Dillard received the award during the Chamber’s 98th Annual Celebration of Business and Community, held February 8 in Rogers.
